Monbento Square #11 (Single Tier)

Some vegetable potstickers from my freezer, a quick soy-and-sesame spinach stir fry, a dipping sauce (it was prettier with the lid on today), and the last bit of yesterday's fried rice.

I believe in keeping some spinach and peas in your freezer; you never know when that pop of green is going to save you from a beige meal. This was pretty great, honestly. I'd have eaten it even if I didn't have to (albeit probably with more vegetables in the fried rice).

  1. I always have frozen peas in the freezer. I add them to all sorts of things, including leftovers. And I generally have fresh baby spinach (that I buy in bags) in the fridge. You can't go wrong with them.

    1. I used to hate them, but I gradually made peace with them as an adult. I'd still be unlikely to just have a side of peas, but I'm happy with them perking up other things.
