Dinner Plate #54

 


Here's another installment in "should I even show this" blogging: I have some pastina pilaf, maple dijon tofu, and a salad of shredded cabbage and carrots with onion, sliced apple, walnuts, sunflower seeds, and a tahini dressing.

This had to come in courses, but it got me through another day of avoiding the grocery store!

  1. LOVE tahini, and tahini dressings. I make the classic Middle Eastern tahini dressing, Tarator (tahini, lemon juice, garlic, H2O) almost weekly. Tahini dressings can transform raw or variously cooked (i.e. steamed, roasted, sauteed, etc) vegetables, many recipes and dishes. Am a firm believer: it's all about the sauces!
