Using What I Have Journal Entry #16: Rye Crinkle Brownies

Sometimes, it snows, and not a little; relentlessly, in a way that makes you wonder if you'll ever get to go outside again. And so you make brownies.

And as you are not going anywhere, you just have to make do with what you've got. That's how I made these rye crinkle brownies from the recipe by Wee Little Vegans.

Waiting for brownies to cool is hard, which is one reason I rarely make them. But I was stuck at home anyway, so why not? These were delicious. They used some of the rye flour in my freezer, as well as some aquafaba I had in my fridge. I used dark chocolate chips for the chocolate in the recipe rather than a chocolate bar, and that worked out fine.

I was quite sorry when I finished these off!! They were amazing!
