Monbento Original #22 (Double Tier)

Mixed berries topped with hemp hearts, rice topped with seasoned laver, and Tasty's recipe for Chinese takeout-style tofu and broccoli.

At this point, I felt I could handle the acidity of the berries (and fortunately so, since I had bought them just before my tongue freaked out and I was worried they would all go bad before I got to eat them), and the Tasty recipe looked low in spiciness. It was pretty good! I made a full batch and I have to eat up all the berries so you'll be seeing some variations on a theme this week.

    1. Yes! The blueberries were a bit tart but the raspberries and blackberries were nice and sweet. I'm definitely on the mend for now.

  2. I'm glad you could enjoy the berries, I love fresh berries so much. The tofu and broccoli sounds amazing as well, two of my favourite things.

    1. The berries were a tiny splurge but also the prices for produce in Asian markets are so low in general it seemed like it was worth it! I'm eagerly looking forward to the return of strawberry season.
