Lunchopolis #80

A veggie and hummus wrap, a dark chocolate almond butter cup, apple slices, peanut butter, and dill pickle potato chips.

This is a pretty small quantity of chips, but it somehow was just right for me for this day! I love dill anything. The Kettle brand is kind enough to us to not put whey in their flavored chips the way so many companies do. It's kind of funny, because I never really cared much for potato chips until after I became vegan. My early vegan transition was characterized by intense potato cravings in all potato forms, especially fried forms like chips or fries or tater tots. (Tater tots were the only one of that group I had previously really liked!) That passed, but my love affair with potatoes never really ended, even though potato chips are definitely back to being a "sometimes food."

    1. Yes! I am a much bigger fan of kettle-cooked chips (the thicker ones) than the more common style anyway.

  2. I am not a fan of most potato chips in general, though I do like salt and vinegar flavour a lot. But a dill flavour sounds amazing! I wish we got that here.

    1. I can't quite warm up to salt and vinegar unless it's the only thing available. Most of the ones I've had are so strong! I think the vinegar flavor in the dill chips is faint, rather than overpowering, and so they're a good balance for me.
