When I was in Vermont, I bought these maple oat biscuits and strawberry rhubarb jam, among other things. I thought, hey, I'll just try these oat biscuit things, and only bought one package.
Buy more than that if you have the chance! I can't find oat biscuits outside New England, apparently, and I so wish I had more...they have a quality that somehow resides between sweet and savory, and goes equally well with both cheese and jam. Now I'll have to settle for ordering Effie's Oatcakes on occasion from Amazon if the cravings get too strong. Or go to Vermont again.
