Monbento Original #29 (Double Tier)

A new kind of wrap I tried with a tofu spread, cucumbers, carrots, and lettuce; honeydew melon and cantaloupe chunks; a tahini dressing for tossed veggie salad, roasted red peppers, olives, and artichoke hearts.

Most of this was leftover from an event at work that was catered. But I did make the wraps and the salad dressing. I put too much water in the salad dressing by accident and it still tasted good but it wasn't quite all I'd hoped. The wrap, on the other hand, was great!

I got the idea and the recipe for the tofu spread from Jess Beautician on YouTube (check the description for the recipe if you don't want to find it in the video). It was really great! It was a bit like cream cheese. I'll definitely be exploring this branch of tofu possibilities more.

  1. I've made lots of tofu egg type salad with the tofu crumbled up, but have I made tofu spreads before? It is such a good idea.
