Lunchopolis #72
My TVP pasta bake, garlic toast on my own vegan bread, cucumber slices, and chocolate dipped apricots.
The season of at-home bread baking may be coming to an end for me as the summer heat returns, and I'll be really sad when that happens. I could use some summer meal ideas since I gravitate so much toward casseroles.

It is hot so much of the year here. I am a huge fan of great big salads with all sorts of things. Cold noodle salads are especially delightful. Also quick stir-fries that don't take long over the stove to make.
ReplyDeleteSalads definitely have a lot of appeal! I gravitate toward things that can be made ahead, but plenty of salads can be--yes to cold noodles!
DeleteI'm with you, once summer hits the oven gets turned off. It's way too much, especially when you are sensitive to temperature to begin with. The garlic bread looks awesome and I've never tried chocolate dipped apricots but those look good!
ReplyDeleteThey're really easy! I'll do a proper recipe for it sometime but mostly you just dip dried apricots in melted dark chocolate, set them on parchment paper, and refrigerate until set.
DeleteI still need to try your TVP pasta bake; it looks so good! The chocolate-dipped apricots sound delicious, too!
