Staycation Meal #9

 


Life had given me turnips, you may recall. So I decided to use a bit more of my turnip stash for this lemon chickpea turnip soup (recipe from Pickled Plum). 

This soup was better as leftovers than right when I made it, and if I made something like this again I'd use veggie broth rather than water, for more flavor. But it was good, and light, and the perfect precursor to having a mug cake in bed!
