Sequestration Meal #26
Though some of my meals lately have been a production (a diversion in these trying times), this was from a lower-energy day: Linguine in a basic cream sauce with asparagus. It was very close to this recipe from Thyme and Love, though I only made one serving. Something about all those carbs was just what I needed; I felt much better after this.
Something about creamy and carbs just makes me feel a little better as well. It is a comfort combination for the ages.
ReplyDeleteI think I may have been eating fewer carbs than I normally would, since all the carb-heavy things seemed too precious--pasta, rice, flour, what-have-you are all sold out so quickly.
DeleteThat looks so lovely! As I've mentioned a million times I don't really like pasta or eat it often at all but that is making me crave pasta!
