Sequestration Meal #53

Basic things can be the best things, at times: A crescent roll, sliced avocado, sliced tomato, and a tofu scramble (recipe from Loving It Vegan).

It's not been easy for me; I'm not going to pretend. I have often been profoundly depressed, and when I'm not depressed, I'm usually verging on panic. I know all of that is a normal response to what we're going through right now, but it has made cooking challenging. I'm so glad that I don't really have to worry about tofu for a while, though. Getting a big tofu delivery really took some of the pressure off! I look forward to telling you all about my tofu source soon!

  1. I am glad tofu delivery has at least made things a little better. <3 Tofu is my favourite, and I need a ready supply.

    1. Tofu is so important! But I've also been studying recipes to make it myself, if the need arises. I won't be without tofu!

    2. Oh, hard core! There is a tofu making kit that you can get here that I have thought about in the past. Maybe one day!

  2. I was already experiencing the not wanting to cook feeling as well. Something traumatic happened and now it’s really hard to motivate myself to cook. It’s really frustrating and you are not alone in that battle.

    1. Sorry to hear about your hard time, too, and the new trauma. It seems like there is so much trauma to go around lately.

  3. Thank you. I have forced myself to do a lot of meal prep stuff today. I’ve lacked passion in cooking but will be grateful through the week.
