Sequestration Meal #118

Orange chicken-style soy curls (recipe from the Edgy Veg), rice, and a quick cucumber-carrot salad roughly based on my own recipe.

I did it, everyone! I figured out how to cook soy curls! Which are not hard, so much as mysterious. This recipe is nice, though the orange flavor turned out to be very strong, and I might change the ratio of orange juice to other things if I made it again. Prepared this way, soy curls are really meaty. Where have they been all our lives?

  2. I love soy curls! Of course you can't get them here. I have some in my freezer from US pals that I am carefully rationing out.

    1. You can't get them in the stores where I live, so this is a quarantine bonus, I guess! I made a point of only buying the food in my local stores, but with delivery-only all bets are off.

  3. Okay this recipe got me to finally open my bag of soy curls.. It was yummy and the texture was a little better than tofu for sure. Love to see what else you try with these!
