Sequestration Meal #366

 


I made vegan egg foo young a while ago with JUST Egg, and it was pretty great, but needed something. I decided I was in the mood for it again, but I wanted to try something different, so I made this recipe from Connisseurus Veg. The gravy was wonderful--not the vague "oriental" stuff of my childhood, but nice and savory with a bit of a kick. The patties are really just chickpea flour pancakes, and of course that's tasty but it doesn't really fill that egg foo young craving. I think I may try this gravy with a JUST Egg version sometime.
