Sequestration Meal #534
February is a new month. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Here we have a corn muffin and some pea-and-potato stew (recipe from ElaVegan). The stew is good but probably lower in protein than I should make a meal out of; at such times of late I just make a point of drinking soy milk and it works out.
On a cold day when everything has gone wrong, a bowl of potato stew always seems to make it better, right? Even if aphids took over my window thyme (argh, why do basically all the herbs I buy except mint end up covered in aphids?) and I had to throw away the plant and use dried thyme in the soup. Still. Life goes on, corn muffins are a perpetual delight, and potatoes cover over a multitude of sins.
Potatoes do make many things better.
